I have written this several times. I debated with myself about the best day to post this announcement. I guess today is the best day, so here it goes.

After more than 23 years in service to individuals and small business owners, effective January 15, 2025, MT Austin and Associates (MTAA) will be closing it’s ‘doors‘.

This has been an incredibly difficult decision, not taken lightly but with lots of thought, introspection and consideration of my clients, myself and my family. It is time for me to focus on my financial wellness brand, The Wealth Activator and concentrate of providing what I have noticed is the most essential service – financial education and empowerment for individuals and business owners.

I know you have some questions, so here goes…

What does this mean for MTAA clients effective January 1, 2025?

• Monthly bookkeeping services – for QuickBooks users, monthly transaction categorization, financial reporting and reconciliation) will end with the December 2024 services. We will work with you to catch up any months currently outstanding and support your transition to a new bookkeeper/accountant. We highly recommend contacting our current in house bookkeeper, Tashia of Bookeeper Pros to contract directly with her company effective January 1, 2024. If you’ve worked with Tashia, you know that she is extremely capable, kind and professional.
• QuickBooks Online – If you pay for your QuickBooks as part of your contract with us, we can either bill you separately for the account, or work with QuickBooks to transfer the account to your company to pay directly. Clients will receive communication about this next month.
• Tax preparation – all tax preparation services will still be available for individuals and business clients but will be transitioned to our financial wellness brand, The Wealth Activator.
• Sleep Better at Night Consultations – all consultations, financial wellness and business owner coaching will be provided through the Wealth Activator Brand
• Financial Freedom Press – Future newsletters will be housed on the Queen of Money blog, connected to the Wealth Activator brand. Copies of prior newsletters will be archived and also made available on the new blog.

How can clients reach you after December 31, 2024?

We are working now to transition the Client portal and other aspects of the MTAA website to The Wealth Activator, so please be patient as the work is done behind the scenes.

I know this is surprise and maybe an inconvenience for some, which is why I am making this announcement a few months in advance. Though I am excited about moving forward, there is always a grieving process when letting go, especially something you’ve built for several decades. Just know this is not just a goodbye to MT Austin and Associates, it’s a leap forward into a new adventure. I hope you are willing to join me.
